Sarah’s journey with music started at age 10 when she took up Classical Piano through the Royal Conservatory, earning her Associate’s designation by 15. Her training opened the door to performing across Southern Ontario and competing in provincial Kiwanis Music Festival events.
While her roots are in classical music, Sarah loves branching out into different genres. She’s played keys for musical productions, jazz ensembles, and concert bands—experiences that shaped her more relaxed and fun-focused teaching style. Having grown up in a high-pressure learning environment, she’s passionate about making music lessons enjoyable and tailored to each student’s pace and interests.
Her lessons focus on building a solid foundation in technique, paired with theory, composition, and performance skills, all in a student-centered setting. “Music should be fun, not stressful,” Sarah says. “I want my students to love the process just as much as their progress.”
From kids just starting out to adults refining advanced skills, Sarah is all about creating a welcoming space for every student to explore, grow, and fall in love with music. 😊

Here I'm performing Polichinelle by Sergei Rachmaninoff for my Piano Teacher's student showcase. This was the last recital I performed in 2016 just after my final examination with the Royal Conservatory.
